Do the Reserves care about AWOL? If they misplaced a guy, and he was in no hurry to be found, whom would one call to make known the individual's whereabouts?

I don't think they care too much about AWOL anymore. With a fully volunteer force, they don't want screwups around that don't want to be there.

If you really want to find out, however, contact your local recruiting office. They should be able to point you in the right direction.
