What a great finish to a great season. The Av's are a fantastic story with an even better ending! Thanks for a reason to smoke a Partagas AA followed up by a Cohiba Robusto ISOM. How long do you think it will be before Borque signs with Boston and then retires with them?

That's OK Charlie...I know this is somewhat political, but I will be enjoying an Ashton VSG Corona Gorda tonight in remembrance of the victims of the Oklahoma City Murrah Federal Building bombing....I am so glad that McVeigh is finally dead...What a shame that the victims didn't get the chance to have a final meal or have any final comments, etc....Keith

It was a great smoke...I also gave some thought to one of our members here who recently lost a father...If he's anything like his son, I'm sure he was a great guy too....Keith

As I was up late last night after finally having the installers put the grass down at the new casa. I was outside watering on this warm midwest night enjoying my La Perla Maduro Torpedo. A storm was coming in from the north with lots of lightning being flashed about. The dog was looking worried so we stuck mostly to the garage. Suddenly, it the winds hit. 50 mph bad boys whipping through the neighborhood with no relent. I walked down the street (with La Perla torpedo in hand) to pick up the neighbors garbage can before its contents were strewn across the neighborhood. Large plastic tarps flying by forcing the dog to retreat to the farthest part of the garage (wimp). I turned and headed down the other side of the street to bundle up another garbage can in a sense of neighborly duty. Hay from one guys recent seeding and other random debree assault me from all sides. I casually stroll back to the garage ( I do this cause after spending a night in Hurricane Allecia in Houston, this ain't squat!) I look down to see my La Perla maduro torpedo STILL HAS AN ASH! Delicious and tough. What more can you ask for.
