RESUME

GEORGE W. BUSH

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

Washington, DC 20520

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Law Enforcement :
I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.

Military :
I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take
a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.

College :
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average.
I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil
business in Midland,Texas, in 1975.

I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The
company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money.

With the help of my father and our friends in the oil
industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS:

I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies,
making Texas the most polluted state in the Union.

During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America.
I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.

I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.

With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by
over 500,000 votes.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:

I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a
criminal record.

I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one
billion dollars per week.

I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury.

I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history.

I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period.

I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.

I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market.

In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month.

I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.

I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips by a U.S.President.

I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations.

My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History - Enron.

My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision.

I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution.

More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history.

I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.

I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history.

I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history.

I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.

I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history.

I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.

I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law.

I refused to allow inspector's access to U.S. "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.

I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election).

I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any President since the advent of television.

I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period.

After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S. history.

I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.

I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind.

I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community.

I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in wartime.

In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends.

I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security.

I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD.

I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:
All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view.

All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my bankrupt
companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.

All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-President, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review.

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.

....I got it in an e-mail from someone who hates cigars......now, why do these points upset you so much (i.e. LIE LIE LIE, ETC.)? You know as well as I do that there are more than a few that are FACT, so why stick your head in the sand?

actually very little bothers me.

It is interesting to see how much the Democrats hate Bush and the Republicans and how much the Republicans hate the Democrats.

Its too bad neither side can get over their inflated egos and do what is right for the country.

I wont wast everyones time with what is going on in Austin Tx, but suffice it to say its Republican Vs. Democrat.

I do belive that the American public will do the right thing and re-elect Bush. It's like American Idol, first people are voting their favorites because they thing he or she is cute and then they realize Hey, we need to vote for the best person.

When intelligent people, politicians and non-politicians can see thru the BS and look at what is crucial the right man or woman will be elected.

Part of the problem is when you only have a very small percentage actually voting, but a large percentage bitching nobody gets along.

I need a drink and its only 8:45am

Sonny_LSU,

RDC's "LIE LIE LIE" post is an exact quote from DBguru on another thread regarding right wing smear propaganda. In the interest of being fair and balanced, DBguru should be along shortly to chastise you for starting this repeat of an old thread that is left wing smear propaganda.

Yep,
It's a rePlay, but one that carries alot of truth, along with a few based in truth stretches. But the right, will come up with a few to counter, they always do. I heard an analogy yesterday. This election, is like a bar at closing time. There are only 2 whores left. Which one do you take home. Myself, I will take home the one who hasn't f* me already. The rash hasn't totally healed from the whore in office right now.

Robby,
It's not what he has done to me personally, just what he has done to this country, and his vision for the future, I have problems with. I could start a list, but right now I have more important things going on. Maybe tonight I will start a list.

I'm here....
Comments... You know, you neo-cons are beginning to inspire us Dems to initiate more threads. It would be better if we refrain from posting propaganda (left or right). If you noticed, I generally don't initiate threads with material like this. But I could. There is so much good material out there. Is this propaganda? are these lies? You tell me.

Hey, if there are factual issues here in this resume or partial truths which don't tell the whole story, by all means I'd appreciate my neo-con BOTL to tell us where they have factual challenges the items in the resume and what your source is for that specific challenge. Convince me!! I'd love to be told which item is wrong and why. The election has a lot to do with how GWs resume is interpreted. We are hiring a president. Think about it.

This thread is nothing but a smear campaign. To claim these cut and pastes from the left wing propaganda machine as having any significant factual substance to them is an excercise in selective memory. The issue of Bush's past have already made the rounds in mainstream media with the Democrat assertions and allegations proving to be wrong and they ended up getting a bloody nose for it. This kind of crap only brings up the question of what was Kerry doing during this time and we can only imagine given his self admitted war atrocities... People are waking up to the tactic.

Hey Jonr,
I gotta agree with SonnyLSU.
by the way, you posted above. "You LIEberals are all alike ! When are you libs going to get over the fact GW soundly wipped al gores ass and get on with your lives."
Bush did win the last election, through the electoral college, but not the popular vote, so you can not call it soundly defeating Gore. I voted for Bush against Gore, but will hold my nose and vote for Kerry. If there are enough of us that do so, Bush will lose the election, and there will be a balence in our government again.

Three days ago I issued the challenge

Hey, if there are factual issues here in this resume or partial truths which don't tell the whole story, by all means I'd appreciate my neo-con BOTL to tell us where they have factual challenges the items in the resume and what your source is for that specific challenge. Convince me!!

In the last 3 days.... nothing but generalized insults on liberals in general coming from my Neo-con BOTL. I guess that means that although you hate this resume, you are unable to challenge any of the items on a factual basis with any reasonable source to backupo your challenge.

I observe the following.
1) Because you neo-cons never made any attempt to challenge of the individual facts presented in this resume with anything solid, it can't fall into the same propaganda catagory that much of the neo-con clime posted on this board falls into.
2) Based on the lack of anything resembling factual challenge from Neo-con challengers beyond dribbling sniveling generalizations of how bad liberals, I must this resume as basically statements of fact. After all we all know lying on resumes is a no-no!!

And conclude with the following

3) Any of you wanting to hire this guy based on the facts presented here and everything else you know are absolutely INSANE, perhaps completely BRAINWASHED by neo-con media bias, and have lost your sense of reality.

But that is common knowledge.
I say Firing Dubya is the only sane thing we can do in this election. Everything the Neo-cons have come up with on Kerry is utter fabrication, half truths and lies. If you drill down to the truth about Kerry without sifting through the neo-con attack lying propganda, your begin to see a very viable sane candidate who is extremely capable of being a fine president. The alternative is the man on a mission to lead us to armageddon.

Interesting choice??

Here are my observations

1) the Neo-con BOTL on this board seem incapable of debating facts
2) But they excel in name calling and spreading right wing propaganda lies.. perhaps because they may be incapable of debating facts
3) Maybe I should begin initiating threads like this this resume above to further expose these neo-con capability failures.

Very tempting....

This one goes with the other two;

Main Entry: 1lib·er·al
Pronunciation: 'li-b(&-)r&l
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin liberalis suitable for a freeman, generous, from liber free; perhaps akin to Old English lEodan to grow, Greek eleutheros free
1 a : of, relating to, or based on the liberal arts (liberal education) b archaic : of or befitting a man of free birth
2 a : marked by generosity : OPENHANDED (a liberal giver) b : given or provided in a generous and openhanded way (a liberal meal) c : AMPLE, FULL
3 obsolete : lacking moral restraint : LICENTIOUS
4 : not literal or strict : LOOSE (a liberal translation)
5 : BROAD-MINDED; especially : not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or traditional forms
6 a : of, favoring, or based upon the principles of liberalism b capitalized : of or constituting a political party advocating or associated with the principles of political liberalism; especially : of or constituting a political party in the United Kingdom associated with ideals of individual especially economic freedom, greater individual participation in government, and constitutional, political, and administrative reforms designed to secure these objectives
- lib·er·al·ly /-b(&-)r&-lE/ adverb
- lib·er·al·ness noun
synonyms LIBERAL, GENEROUS, BOUNTIFUL, MUNIFICENT mean giving or given freely and unstintingly. LIBERAL suggests openhandedness in the giver and largeness in the thing or amount given (a teacher liberal with her praise). GENEROUS stresses warmhearted readiness to give more than size or importance of the gift (a generous offer of help). BOUNTIFUL suggests lavish, unremitting giving or providing (children spoiled by bountiful presents). MUNIFICENT suggests a scale of giving appropriate to lords or princes (a munificent foundation grant).

JonR, I love Guru's spunk & vinegar. Like him or not, he's not afraid to mix it up & defend his side with lucidity & a long array of "facts" not just cut 'n paste... I salute you Guru!

BTW "ozone for brains" Gore would have probably been better for the economy than Dubya "no clue" Bush.

Having said that, Gore's margin of victory (popular vote)probably came from the inner cities where they handed out Kools, $5 dollar bills, and a ride, PLUS from the illegal Latino vote (400k +) which was already registered to vote thanks to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles. Thanks to the Democrats they are allowed to register when they apply for their licenses- no proof of citizenship is needed.
Thank you George Mitchell, my Arab-American friend, for making this "dream" come true.

Oh yeah, don't forget how most libs fought to suppress the military vote from abroad.

Sonny, you're the other "progressive" that I like.

You may be right, but I think that Democrats appeal to the baser instinct of man. This "blame America first" bunch is more likely than the Republican's to promise anyone- ANYTHING. The black, latino (incl. illegals), homosexual, feminist, union vote is theirs' to lose. On the other hand, the batch of "Republicans" in office are in the back pocket of big business.

Now, don't punch me out. You're just cranky 'cause the twins are beginning to turn conservative on you.

Hell dbguru, I do not agree with you but I will compliement you as well on your rebuttals (liberal as they may be)! You at least take time to answer/state whatever the item may be and give thoughts that are more than a website or cut and paste like most neo-libers do!

I think Rumsfeild should be retired or put to pasture, mainly for his lean and mean Military views, not for the bruhaha over the "detainees" which I found deplorable, but seems to be the way the middle Easterners treat their POW's etc! They did not act in horror and revolt over Saddam and his treatment and torture, but this is causing too much unrest and getting far too much coverage.....Yes, the guilty parties should be court martialed and justice should be served!

Look Ricko, nothing will dissuade me from thinking that the left didn't want the military vote to count. They were overwhemingly Republican.

I also know that Jesse & his ilk energized the inner city vote among the indigents by giving away $$$, cigarettes, and rides to the voting booth.

I have spoken to Latino illegals who voted Democrat. They were automatically registered at the DMV and they voted for the party of "compassion" which promised them leniency & eventual "amnesty". No id or proof of citizenship was required at ANY of the voting sites. I figure that there must be at least 500K- 1M registered illegals. The majority voted for Al "Ozone for Brains" Gore.
Come to think of it, Al had had a better handle on how to energize business with his credit card purchases than Dubya who was too dumb to even run the Rangers. They put him in media relations...

Ricko, this steel trap is rusted shut on these matters.
