I just recently purchased a digital video camera (sony trv-19 miniDV) and want to get into downloading and editing on my PC and burn to DVD. Would appreciate any tips on software, technique, etc. I have a burner and picked up the pinnacle video editing software suite. I have not opened it yet though so if anyone thinks there is a better S/W, let me know.

Appreciate all input.

Thanks,
B

If you plan on burning DVD's please keep in mind the toxic fumes that can come from the melting materials found in both the actual disk and the packaging. Instead send them to my Unwanted DVD Service and they will be processed accordingly.
