Gotta agree with Culture Club, Hanson and Menudo.

I'd add Wham, Aha, Devo, and a buncha other 80's "techno" bands.

New Kids on the Block.... I hated them and still do. Started the whole boy band craze... we wouldn't have horrible groups like Backstreet Boys or InSync if it weren't for the New Kids... damn I can't stand 'em!

Hanson is just Hootie and the Blowfish without the black guy.

Disco makes me want to heave, but I saw the Bee Gee's farewell concert on cable one night when there was nothing else on, and it was great.

Totally don't get the whole grunge/punk/garage thing at all. I prefer listening to musicians who sound like they spent more than three months learning their instruments before they record their albums.

IMHO Both Anthrax and Slayer are awesome bands. Seen them both in concert and they rock. But that is just me.

I'm sure I'll catch flack for this but I can't stand the band Staind. Nothing but whiney vocals and boring guitar playing. YUCK!

Also Norah Jones. She was a nice voice but all her songs sound the same. Really boring to listen to. (although my wife loves her)

Brittany Spears. She sings as if someone is strangling her. Wish someone would.

Disco Bee Gees did suck. The earlier top 40/rock Bee Gees had some good tunes.

I think Staind and Creed are both strong bands. Purists hate any rough cut band that goes mainstream. Why? Shame on them for reaching the dream.....whatever. Why should they forever play dives and die poor?

My vote goes for Hanson.

I like all the 80's "techno" music, but hey that was popular when I was in college. Sometimes the good memories come with songs attached.

In the realm of classic rock, Foreigner takes the cake in my opinion. "Hot Blooded" has got to be one of the most inane songs ever written. It is the "Plan 9 from Outer Space" of rock music. My son and I still laugh over our local classic rock station that featured a "No Foreigner Weekend". That says it all.

Stryper was an incredibly talented band. That guy could sing like nobody's business. Winger was also good.

Then again I like 80's music.

How about Dos La Rios (or something like that) the ones that brought us the Macerana.

I did see Creed in a dive here in my hometown and they still sucked. Other bands I saw that sucked before they made it big were Kid Rock and Papa Roach. Papa Roach has to be one of the worst bands I have ever seen. I almost got in a fist fight with the lead singer after he spit on the girl right next to me. When I saw Kid Rock there were like six people there. Much like Creed he is way to much of a poser for me

I'm not saying Winger was the bee's knees or anything. But I wouldn't classify them as worst band ever. I liked some of their stuff.

Another vote of mine for worst band ever would be Monster Magnet. Saw them in concert with Iron Maiden and they are hands down the most boring band I've seen live.

and I'll go with Krokus for my third.

I try to stick with bands within my genral music likes. It's too easy to say a band/performer is horrible if you don't like the music they play to begin with.

Wow... this shows how musical tastes differ as much as cigar tastes do.
