There are many ingredients to the McCain/Kennedy/Edwards bill that I may not agree with, but I've gotta ask this: Why did they specifically omit the provision about NOT being able to sue an Employer who chose the Health Plan???? Don't they realize that employers simply won't provide plans any longer?

Whoa, Joe, you have just "spat across the piece of firewood" and will be stormed with all kinds of answers. I hate to admit it, but I don't think there is a decent solution for healthcare. It is going to take a lot more comprimise than having a Republican "stooge" front this thing for the Democrats. This will take a lot of reshaping and changing to get it through. Charlie

Charlie, I hope I DO get answers. Also, you noted it's being fronted by a Republican "stooge". You put the quotations around the wrong word...

Whoops, my mistake I should have said that McCain is a "Republican" stooge. Corrected my error! Charlie

Yup. I saw him as a "moderate" candidate and a true American who gave a lot to his country. But I've learned a LOT about him since then. He's a one-show act who is further left than right. His version of finance "reform" is unconstitutional, and this new healthcare platform is thinly veiled socialism. The best man truly did win.
