I started posting prices items can be bought for on various web siteswhen I bid, i.e. retails for $7.00. Maybe the newbees will get the hint and not overbid. You California guys with your sin tax hurt too.

this californian does not overbid. the last cigars i bought in my state were hemmngway masterpieces at $130.00 for a box of ten. in vegas, where my wife buys cigarettes at $10. to $15. a carton, cigars are so overpriced, it's worse than calif. the only place there that has at least, fair prices, is the dunhill store at ceasers. the employees dress in suit and tie but it is difficult discussing cigars with an 18 year old clerk. with cbid i watch prices go nuts but i don't join the nuts.

Don't hurl stones at this Californian! I refuse to pay the high "bid" prices when I can buy them cheaper at other cigar email outlets. The bidding for a box of Aristoff Perfectos got to 40 bucks. They are available all over the net for less than that! Charlie

Be patient! Let cigarbid make their money. This isn't charity. How many of you out there have 0 cigars in your humidor, completely going without a cigar, waiting for prices to even out? You're like the rest of us probably; I'm with Charlie -- smoke whatcha got, sit back, and hang loose. (Or go ahead and pay now.)
