Looks like the Giants will have Warner to teach Eli the ropes. I wish him well. He will continue to support the charities in St Louis.

I hope the media eats his wife alive. Maybe they can teach her up there not to call up sports talk shows and give Kurt's opinion.

Sad to see him go...

Not a Rams fan but Warner is one helluva player in my book. Always gave 110%. I wish him well.

Now Vinne... I am glad he got the boot from the Jets.

Sorry guys... he may be a great guy, but his 15 minutes are over. With all the talent he had on offense, it doesn't surprise me how gaudy his numbers were for those few years. But he isn't all that.

John Elway? Did it with very little help. Dan Marino, same thing. They were great no matter who they played with.

And how ironic that he is going to the team that pretty much started his downfall...

We'll see how he does, but I think his best days are behind him.

I think Warner has been smacked in the head a few times too many and won't make a difference.

MACS(SW)

i hope you are wrong. i took a personal interest in the man that was past over, and did what he could, grocery clerk, while waiting for something good to happen.

i'd like to see him have one more good year.

The Giants will have a late blooming season (8-8??) this year but miss the playoffs. Watch out in 2005 though. I think Warner may have a few good moments in NY but at some point Manning will need to go in and it wil happen mid season. Warner will be an excellent mentor for Manning this year. Beyond that Warner is done as a starter. Main thing working against Warner is a bit of a drop in receiver quality from the Lambs to the Giants.

(I can't wait for the NFL season.... and lots of St Louis Lamb Chops!!!! just a little Seahawk talon dig... this season's NFC power is to the birds... Hawks vs Eagles (Falcons may surprise))

My opinion is that he is washed up. I would never compare him to the likes of Montana, Favre, Elway or Marino but he did perform for a short while. And we ate that up in St Louis.

He is gun shy and I am not sure if his hand ever recovered.

I do not see Seattle as a power house.

He had one of the best short streches (maybe two years) of any QB going. He was on fire then.

I'm with Bass on this one...i dont think his hand ever recovered...

Will he do good...will he suck...

Well, hard to say...i think alot will depend on what offense he is thrown into...going to be hard to shine with the players he has though...

And my Eagles are going to take it all anyways...
