Box or 5 pack?

Ever bid on a box only to find out it was actually a 5 pack? I bid on some Te-Amo Satisfactions listed in the "boxes" category. After bidding I noticed there was not a quantity listed so I sent a quick E-mail stating I assumed (that was probably my problem) this was a box of 20 or 25. The response: it is a 5 pack with no other explanation. I sent a follow up asking why they were incorrectly listed under boxes and as of yet have not received a reply. The darn things only went for $12 but as the saying goes "It's the principal that counts".

Anyone else have a similar experience?

ej, I actually wrote to customerservice, asking if the lot in Q, listet under Boxes, didn't belond in the 5-pack category, lot# fitting in perfectly with other 5-packs that had opened the same day. Didn't get a reply, but obviously I was right. I think they should accept that they have f***ed up, and let you have a refund. [email protected]

Hi guys! This is my first opportunity to post a message on the Forum and its to apologize to you ej178. I'm the new Customer Service Rep for CigarBid. Ruth has cut back her hours and is only in the office on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. She does a great job, but unfortunately, she can't answer her emails when she's not in the office. ej178 I sent you an email about our response to the mistake we made with regard to the 5-pack. Sorry about this mix-up!! Trish

... ok Trish. Let's see who we are dealing with. Ruth posted seveal pictures of her and the hubby, so now we want to see you. It really helps to be able to put a face with the name ... doesn't everyone agree?

Trish, welcome to (the ugly world of) the board. Hopefully you'll fill in and continue the usually high standard of service that charactarises CB. Sorry to hear that Ruth has cut back on her working hours. Is this due to happy curcumstances, Ruth? ;)

I'm embarrassed to report that I once bid on a 5 pack thinking I was bidding on a box. I won the lot at a very cheap price, so that's when I checked and figured out what I had done.

But that was my fault, as much as I wish there was someone else to blame it on. Doh!

Happy Herfin',

The quantity was (25) I know because I bid on the lot also. I always double check the quantity so that I know what the cigars will cost per cigar. In my opinion if Cigarbid messed up they should follow through with what they promised.

ej178,
The quantity (25) suddenly disapeared during the bidding, I had a print out that had a quantity listed, is anyone good at putting together a shreaded document..... LOL, I have a bad habit of putting all printed documents through the shreader.... a work related thing...
