As many of you know, we're considering moving out of this hell hole (weather wise, still a Packer fanatic) to a warmer climate. Any views on Jacksonville or Palm Beach?? I know there aren't any helmet laws, but what about smoking gars in public places, etc. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks :->)

Jax still gets cold weather. The further south you go the warmer it is. Get below the Myakka river and it doesn't freeze.

Cigars are "outlawed" thanks to a California advocacy group that put "Don't you like clean air?" on our ballots. Still plenty of places to light up though. Drop all the Packer $hit at the state line and you'll do fine!

Hey Maddvibe:

Thanks for the info. My wife needs some climate change, so I have to stay in the northern area. Hellyeah I'd go A1A to Key West otherwise. About the almighty Pack, I'd rather support the Bay that has a color, than one that could run red (due to its name) :-/>

Hey Fritz,
If you are leaning towards Jacksonville, check out Amelia Island. I lived there, for a couple of years. Great place to live, if you work in Jacksonville. Fernandina Beach, the town on the Island, is a nice place to go, after a rough day of work. The Plantation, on the Island, has a nice golf course.

I hate to say it, but DMV's right on with this one. One of my ex-girlfriends is a reporter in Tampa for Channel 10 I believe.....ahhhhhh the memories.

Now, there is a very good possibility I am moving to Atlanta soon (new job) and the place seems to be a great seasonal mix, well kept (NORTH ATLANTA) and such a great hub to many southeastern locations (mountains, beaches, etc.)

....but, Tampas hard to beat.
