Hey guys, long time no see. Anyways, don't laugh but I have a question. I always see/hear people smoking Ashton VSG's on special occassions. Are these cigars really that good? If so, what kinda taste do they have? I know there's tons of sizes so I'm not going to ask for a specific size. If you could just tell me what size you smoked and what you thought of it, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanx guys. BTW, HOW ABOUT THEM RED SOX!

YES!...Very rich medium to full bodied smoke!..You wish that it will never end!...If I could afford to smoke them everyday, I would!...Corona Gordas are my favorite size personally...They are exceptionally good smokes that are as good, if not better, than Opus X most of the time...Anejos are another incredible smoke!...WOW!...I tried one thanks to Anejo and it was unbelievably tasty!

I have to be in the mood for a VSG, because they are quite full bodied. It is not the type of cigar you want to smoke on an empty stomach. That is part of the reason they are "special occasion" smokes. Nonetheless, it is a great cigar...packed with tons o'flavor. I agree with rookie, that for the most part they are a better smoke than Opus X and easier to obtain.

Probably one of the best smokes out there. Full bodied, complex flavor, burns coollike a really good cuban. By far my favorite cigar right now. Expensive, but a must try. If your gonna spend that kind of money on a cigar also try the Avo anniversary cigar and the odysey coffin cigars, both full bodied and right on the money

I love CAO's cigars, but was not impressed with the Odyssey. It just wasn't all that!? I'll second you on the Avo anniversary though...great cigar if you can find them.

No. They are not that good. They are over-rated, burn unevenly, and seem inconsistent in their construction.

GO SOX! CONFUSION TO THE YANKEES!

I'll take ALL the Ashton VSGs that you don't want. I have smoked a few and liked them. Very strong nicotine punch though. Not for beginners! As good as an Opus X....nah!
