The rumor mill is going like never before...
some of the more interesting ones:
Coach K (don't even ask me to spell his last name) going to the lakers

Shaq possibly going to Dallas or even Sacramento

Kobe playing in NYC or Memphis

Malone retiring, not retiring

all of this is because Kobe is a spoiled rotten little kid and is acting like one. Finally he is showing his true colors, and instead of tossing him to the side, the Lakers are grabbing their ankles trying to please him. Its disgusting really

On a side note, I don't know what I would do if Shaq came to play for my beloved Kings. We've hated him fot too long to just let him into the fold. I honestly think thre will be some fans whose heads will explode if this happens.

I hate the lakers and cant understand why they would let shaq go, kobe doesnt have what it takes to carry a team he is not a jordan or bird type. Kobe doest get along with teammates and most teammates dont have respect for him.....shaq can take you all the way with some good role players and not old farts like GP or Karla. I am kinda pissed that our old coach Rudy T. who was under contract with my team still as a scout, seems like he is only a second string to coach K. I WILL LOVE to see him get a great big wakeup call in the NBA, players will not repect him like they do at DUKE.....and thats a big part of his coaching system.

Houston the rest of the league has a problem, its YAO and T-MAC!!!!!!!!

Now that we have t-mac and Jeff to coach him we can get out of the first round this year, and maybe you can tell your team to drop us a game this year..

???? Finally? There are those that follow basketball a little closer that could see him for what he's worth. Unfortunately, I can't sell him for what he THINKS he's worth!

For the Lakers to descimate an entire team to soothe one ego is afront to common sense. With the Bulls it was a crazed owner that blotted out any future runs in the foreseeable future, but with the Lakers? Any team that touches either Shaq or Kobe will end up regretting it. They will cost too much and deliver very little. They've already got theirs and the incentive isn't there.

I would actually like to "K" with the lakers, get rid of Kobe and get Vin(sanity) Carter. Kobe is good but he wouldn't have the jewels w/ out the big fella. Anybody that comes out and says he messes around on his wife because, "I'm a man", is a joke of a personality.

shaq is going any place he wants. his career has, maybe three years. i see no point in any team paying him, unless they are damn certain he will bring them an instant championship.

kobe is a dilemma. forgetting for a moment his inability to get along with anyone, his team mates, his coach, his family, who didn't go to his wedding, and he had to pay his wife a ring worth four million bucks to apologize for his indescretion.

the likely hood of thier being a trail is pretty minimal. he has a team of lawyers that has scared the da off. the da is running for reelection and doesn't wan't to lose a case of this magnitude, which means he doesn't think it's a slam dunk.

i suspect the girl in question will back off, when they read her text messages. without knowing who said what to who that night, when a woman puts on dirty underwear, with seman stains from two people, neither one being kobe, and goes to report kobe raped, is beyond stupid.

i would suggest the word skank, fits her. i can't visualize some one that busy with her sex life saying no to the big star kobe.

so far kobe has been offered the keys to the kingdom, by the clippers, 7 year at 20 million + a year, his choice of coach, and probably his choice of teamates.

i don't think his performance exceeds his ego, but he alone as a star can't beat a team of 5 players working together as evidenced by the laker's fiasco last season. even bix needed good back up muscians.

the dodgers left brooklyn in 1957, gretzky retired, the rams dumped warner in favor of a quarterback that even the coach didn't trust to win, serena gets clobbered by a youngster who is still a sr in high school, and the lakers are probably out of it for a long time.
buss will probably sell the team, he is not going to games to see his teams lose. he might even start dating women over 21.

poor jack, no need to sit center court anymore. time to find a new hobby.

Does Kobe want the ring or the maximum payday? He has the rings. He will go to the highest overbidder.
