goin fishin with the gf and kid for his 5th b-day for the 1st time. might have to try this, think he will freak out?

We used minnows Friday and Saturday to get two limits of Lake Erie perch for our July 4 fish fry tonight. Maybe should have tried something else??

That happened locally. Those pictures were in the newspaper a month ago but look alot better in color.

I'm going to stick with normal tackle and not use my balls to catch flathead catfish.

Holy crap...

Well, I guess I shouldn't be entirely surprised. Catfish *will* eat anything... I usually use nasty cheap a$$ hotdogs as bait. The more processed the better. Chicken liver also works pretty good but is harder to keep on the hook.
