so whats the thoughts on this one??
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,124739,00.html

I visited with a few other Marines this past weekend and will hold off on posting their inputs on this issue until I see some responses from some of you all... Saturdays reports were "They Beheaded this Marine also" but then maybe not?

if so same gut reaction/feelings as for Nick Berg, Johnson, and the south Korean? or different thoughts??

should he be returned to the US Military or let to go home to Family??

looking for your inputs...

Until they find him or his body it is too early to say what happened or is happening. This is being played for propaganda on both sides so at the moment I don't think it is good to fully believe either. Just one retired Jarheads opinion.

I had some things to say on the matter, but I really have to go with AVB on this one!

Totally agree with the above two. It's easy to speculate now, but kind of worthless until all the facts come in. Until we know better I feel we should stil consider him a prisoner.

He's probably doing what he has to do to survive.. Walking a tightrope don't you think???

Hope he is able to survive and eventually provide us great intelligence, even if he has to show deep sympathies to the terrorist causes to live through this (hopefully its just a show not a conviction). That's what I'm praying for.

Well he is safe and in Beirut(I think). Sounds pretty fishy to me. I think he went along willingly. They originally listed him as unauthorized leave.

As of this evening (7/8) they are reporting that he has been found with his family in Lebanon. The US Military is now investigating this as a possible hoax. If so, this is a disgrace to his comrades whom have held the line.

I agree with the deserter & fish- stink comments.

Just as most of the WWII Japanese had allegience to their emperor, the muslim's allegiance is first & foremost to his satanic religion/culture and then to his "country". Like it or not, we're in a religious war.

Let him stay in Lebannon.
