Sorry to Burst the Bushies bubble. But I have the book of Dan Quayle quotes where most of these were lifted from, and attributed to Kerry. Just like the fans of Bush, to Lie about the origin of quotes. LOL

Homie, you should check out this site. they give the Kerryism and the exact time he said it along with a longer snippet of the quote.

http://slate.msn.com/id/2103507/

The one from today is Kerry: Uh, sure, I'm aware of that.

Can't pin this on Quayle

Uh, sure I'm aware of that. 'Course I am. And I respect it, enormously. And I respect John Edwards' story and the way in which he has, you know, gone to college and been very successful. And I think that's one of the great American stories. But I think there are also other experiences that also matter that other people have that are different. And what matters is sort of what you do with your life, in my judgment. What matters is what are your values, what you fight for. And for 35 years I've been fighting to make sure that everybody else has access to the same kinds of privileges and opportunities that I've had. And I've stood by those fights. That's why I'm a Democrat, and that's why I've fought as hard as I have for minimum wage, for opportunity for education, for college. That's why I fight for civil rights. And you know, I think those are the things that define the difference. I'm not sure what the purpose of the question is, but I think those are the things that are important.

There are multiple times hesaid that and each one is linked.

I am the only United States Senator who has been elected four times, currently serving in the Senate, who has voluntarily refused to ever take, in any of my races for the Senate, one dime of political action committee special interest money. The only checks I took were from individual Americans. Now did some individual lobbyists contribute? The answer is, yes, they did.

I always liked this one.

I threw my medals over the fence, or I threw someone elses medals over the fence, or I threw my ribbons over the fence, or I threw someone elses ribbons over the fence, or ribbons and medals are the same thing. Medals and ribbons are not the same thing. Ask anyone in the military or any vet. Ribbons are the small strips of cloth normally worn to representate the medal. A car title representates the car. They are not the same thing. My title gets considerably better gas milage for one thing.

Hey Rick,
The Above quotes, that were said by Dan Quayle, are as follows:

"The vast majority of our imports come from outside the
country" J.Danforth Quayle

"If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure." J.Danforth Quayle

"One word sums up probably the responsibility of any
Vice President, and that one word is 'to be prepared'."- J.Danforth Quayle

"I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good
judgments in the future."- J.Danforth Quayle

"The future will be better tomorrow."- J.Danforth Quayle

"I stand by all the misstatements that I've made."- J.Danforth Quayle

"A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people
going to the polls."- J.Danforth Quayle

"We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may
not occur."- J.Danforth Quayle

"For NASA, space is still a high priority."- J.Danforth Quayle

"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."- J.Danforth Quayle

"It's time for the human race to enter the solar system." J.Danforth Quayle

I am not sure of the origin, of the other quotes attributed to Kerry, in the original post, but considering the Inaccurate reporting of these, they are probably Bushisms. LOL
