I think this was asked before, but it'll be fun again 2nd time around.... So what was the first cigar you ever had? What was the first GOOD cigar you had? What was it that got you hooked on these things? I thought about this after talking to tsriddle last night and the poor guy told me his FIRST cigar to try was a Padron Anni maduro! Now where do you go from there? That's like driving a Ferrari as your first car! My first, which caught my curiosity, was a Caribbean Delight. Days later I found my curious self buying an Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva robusto (a Chateau Fuente?), and later that night I fired it up and never looked back.

My first cigar was a Swisher Sweet (yum yum) and I was 13 or 14 years old,and it kept me from smoking for years! We stole them from a friends father! My first real cigar was a Macanudo! I have always had a fondness for Macanudos even though they are far too mild for me today. Charlie

My first handmade was a La Fontana (which translated means "crap" in Italian)...I didn't know what I was doing...I just puffed and puffed on it and thought I was enjoying myself..Plus I was drinking in a bar at the same time...KC

My first was a Backwoods. I do civil war reenactments and they look the closest to old time smokes. My first REAL smoke was a HDM Excaliber. Damn these premiums!! LOL

First of course was the Swisher sweet. Later in my teens my Dad got a box of stogies from Thompsons. I smoked most of those much to his delight (Ha!). So the first good cigar was actually a Punch second $1.35 each, that's all I could afford. Oh to be poor. Later that year, my boss tosses me a Cohiba. I smoke it then asked for raise. He laughed, then fired me.

Englet. You're the first person to ever call an Ancla Y Cazadore a "premium". LOL

at 5 I had a antonio and cleopatra grenadier cigar from my fathers glove box. I was pretending to be Vic Morrow on Combat. Got pretty sick(didn't lose my head though)Next came the blueberry tiparillos at 15, blackwatch at 16 and finally the old Portifino at twenty one when I was managing my first Restaurant(they were free by trade outs). Smoke it all now. Lord bring back the blueberry tiparillos at $.50 a pack before i go broke.
