I have read several Thompson books including Killer Inside Me, Pop. 1280, South of Heaven, Grifters. Saw Coup de Torchon. That guy is hardcore.

i can send you a copy of the dvd Coup de Torchon/Clean Slate, 1981, dir. by Bertrand Tavernier, a copy of the vhs "this world and then the fireworks", i don't think i knew the killer inside me was made into a movie, so i have just ordered it from netflix and can dup that for you also.

i also have some of his book, and i don't save books. you are welcome to them.

Damn Rick, you finally post something I totally agree with (besides hummingbirds & music) and I got in too late.
Thompson the king of the hard-boiled pulp fiction writers. Quenten Tarantino worsphips Jim Thompson....just imagine the movies he writes and directs...pure Thompson noir! Great writer.

Love his books, love the movies based on them and the directors in Hollywood who happen to be big fans of Thompson!

i can dup the dvd's.

JonR doesn't seem to have any more interest in this subject.

i can always send a few books to different guys and dup the dvd's and vhs.
