I guess the New York Times prefers the Abu Ghraib story. Bashing the current government makes money. Sad but true...

New York Times seems to prefer the stories that put down our troops, whether it is the criminals who participated in the Abu Gharib mess or some helicopter crew who wipes out an enemy target that the Times and other leftist groups claim had civilians in the target area...........for example, the "wedding party" that we heard so much about that turned out to be exactly what the military said it was........Terrorist!
