From the Tombstone Tumbleweed Newspaper - Illegal Aliens Cochise County, Arizona

Border Patrol field agents have shared some disturbing information with the Tumbleweed as well as other civilian sources with the hope the information will make it to the general public.

The Tumbleweed has verified information that a flood of middle-eastern males have been caught entering the country illegally east of Douglas, Arizona. The increased patrols in the Huachuca Mountains area of Cochise County, seems to have diverted the flow of OTM's, "other than Mexicans" east to the Chiricahua Mountains. In the last month, the Tumbleweed has confirmed at least two documented accounts of Border Patrol agents encountering large groups of non-Spanish speaking males in the Chiricahua foothills and on trails along the high mountain areas.

On or about the early morning hours of June 13, 2004 Border patrol agents from the Wilcox station encountered a large group of suspected illegal border crossers, estimated to be around 100, just east of the Sanders Ranch near the foothills of the Chiricauha Mountains. 71 suspected illegal aliens were apprehended; among them were 53 males of middle-eastern decent. According to a Border Patrol field agent, the men were suspected to be Iranian or possibly Syrian nationals.

"One thing's for sure, these guys didn't speak Spanish and after we questioned them harder we discovered they spoke poor English with a middle-eastern accent, then we caught them speaking to each other in Arabic...this is ridiculous that we don't take this more seriously, and we're told not to say a thing to the media, but I have to," said the agent, whose name will obviously remain anonymous. The agent stated the men were wearing the traditional uniform of migrants - baseball caps, tennis shoes, some had work boots, denim jeans and many had t-shirts with patriotic American flags and slogans. The agent added the following description "A curious thing I noticed was that they all had brand new clothing and they looked as if they had just been to the barber shop, you know, new haircuts. They were clean cut and they all had almost the exact cut of mustaches."

The information was corroborated by a local rancher in the area who reports that sightings of groups similar to these are on the rise. The rancher also reports that groups of heavily armed paramilitary drug smugglers have also been seen in the same area.

"We've had groups in the hundreds coming through again. They were gone for awhile but now they're back. And of course we have the drug mules again and many are carrying automatic weapons. Many other ranchers in the area have been frustrated with the lack of response from Border Patrol. After calling over and over again, to the Wilcox headquarters, we might get a response a few hours later. We call them in to the Border Patrol, we only have the Wilcox station, and they're so darned far away. By the time they send in the helicopters these groups are long gone. I don't know how many they catch but they're coming through here heavy right now." On or about the evening of June 21, 2004, agents from the Wilcox Border Patrol station apprehended 24 members of a larger group of Arabic speaking males located just east of the Pierce/Sunsites area of Cochise County. At least half of the males escaped capture and disappeared into the United States.

hog... can you say "inflitration"? Sounds like we need some serious action there. Do you think that "W" will do anything? It sounds like the Boarder Patrol needs some additional backup!

Cav

There are enough Democrats and Republicans in the Congress to keep that fence from happening! They are all afraid of offending the Mexicans and to hell with Canada (they will let anybody cross their borders)! I only hope that we do not regret the lack of patrolling the borders come back and bite us in the a--!

Na CigRick... that is what America is suppose to be...

This Country was founded on Minute Men Militia... and still goes strong on the Idea... not some SOB who spends his time hanging around a military surplus supply store...

But to be PC in this day and age is the correct Lingo... lets let Kerry bring in the UN to protect our boarders while we all sing and dance and have a good time.. until one by one each and every city declairs Marshal Law... or better Yet the whole Frickin Nation because thats whats going to be next.... Ask Rick!!!!

I'm suffering from PC fatigue!! When do we as a people stand up and say ENOUTH!! Hog, you're absolutely correct about protecting the boarders & the Arab/Musulm inflatration. Its bad enough that thousands of illegal hispanics cross our boarders every day. I realize that they are looking for a better standard of living that they have, and that's one thing, but these other inflitrators I truly believe will have a seriously different agenda that will be totally detremental to our country. Pretty soon we'll start having the same kind of incidents that they are having in Bagdad. (JMHO)

i don't give a pig sneeze WHO wants a better life in america -- do it LEGALLY.

except for one native american grandmother (whose ancestors either walked the trail of tears or hid in caves until they were "allowed" to come back out and try to buy back the land that was stolen from them), my grandparents were all immigrants to this country -- they were sicilians and came over at a time when more and more laws were being passed to restrict "that kind" of immigrant. but they DID IT. LEGALLY. and once here, they contributed to this country -- became entrepreneurs or worked digging ditches and mining coal until they either died or moved up and on to better things. their children fought this country's wars -- every single son wore a US military uniform; every daughter contributed to the war effort (my mom worked in the oak ridge plant that produced "the" nuclear bomb, as did my father after his WWII duty was served -- that's where they met).

so what's that little personal history story about?

COME TO AMERICA! but do it *legally* and contribute to its greatness once here!

is that un-PC of me? tough nuggets. speak it anyway -- THAT is how to rid this country of PC!

Can we please set up some CEWI units with light armor, some B1 bombers and take care of the problem that's been plaguing our nation.

One week of that and THEY'LL build the wall for us!

Our borders both North and South are wide open and it's more than evident that the thugs know it because we are rounding them up, but what about the ones that made it?...it's just a matter of time; we as citizens, the ranchers in the area, need to keep an eye on it and take the appropriate legal action. We do have the power to make citizen's arrest don't we (or has that been "legislated" out of the system?) And as stated, come to this country but do it legally. You will soon be hearing of these terror thugs working in unison with the armed drug runners; Unfortunately, nobody in politics wants to touch the border issue (north or south) because that would be doing something unpopular and proactive.

everyone in this country — even non-citizens — has the legal right to make a citizen's arrest. the specifics vary by state, but if someone witnesses a crime, that person can make an immediate arrest and then use "reasonable" physical force to detain the suspect.

if a private citizen does make an arrest, he must bring the person to a law enforcement officer without reasonable delay. a law enforcement officer has to agree with the arrest before any formal charges are made.

i very seldom post but i do read the forum everyday. once in a while i come across a thread that i feel i need to reply to. this is one of those and here is my 2 cents:
cav - we have emailed back and fourth on issues before and i do believe this is the 1st time we don't see eye to eye. 1st - the only reason israel even has cajones is because of the US. if you lift them up and look underneath them you will find a tag that says "Made in the USA". if they would put down the US made guns, planes, choppers, etc. and have a good old fashoned rock fight, i might then have a little respect for them. 2nd - on the border issue, just by making them legal will not make us safe. the bastards responsible for the 9/11 attack used our system to get to us. that is what we should focus on, not the illegals. living here in the south west i have a lot of respect for them. you see they work the jobs us americans wont do. they work in the fields in 115 deg heat for next to nothing. i know you would not do it and i sure would not as well. they dig ditches, wash our dishes as well as our cars, clean up after us, and basicly do the jobs no one wants. they are faster, more reliable, and posess a work ethic that us americans used to have. lets face it we have become a lazy nation and we got lazy about our boarders. i don't see illegals on the side of the roads with signs wanting a hand out. that position is taken by US citizens who don't want to work. it is the illigals who pay taxes, not the legal US citizen drug dealers. we do need to protect our boarders but there is a $ allocation problem. we spent over 2 billion $ and countless american lives on a war. for what, we are no safer today. what a pity.
