As you may have noticed - the race for the presidency is in full swing!
I have been watching the democratic convention for my own information.

Am I the only one who heard Mrs Kerry say "her father was not allowed to vote until he was 71 years old"? in white south Africa! So, what I want to know is what race is she? Remember Senator Graham in the 2000 election? They wouldn't let him run because his wife was Japanese Hawaiian!!! And I didn't hear anyone refer to or mention this last night. Is this because they are "democrats"? It's all right for the democrats to do it, but not the Republicans!

I didn't and am not watching what I can keep from watching of this DNC... But this came in an email and is a good food for thought...

another Question is... does this woman own a company in the US of A???

Cmon..... when you resort to name calling, you lose. But even as a left of center, moderate Dem, I can understand criticism of Theresa's speech. And I have no problem with intelligent criticism of her spech coming from my conservative friends. Her public personality is bewildering along with her speaking style. Her speech was not a typical male directed speech. The focus was a bit unfocused (definitely a more feminine trait) The accent is not an issue with me. (Heck.. Kissinger and Gov. BOTL Schwartznegger are fine with the accent). But in the end... she is no politician herself. As a Democrat, I really think Theresa's campaigning should be limited.

On the other hand I'm very impressed with John Edwards wife. And I think many other speeches at this convention have been very resonant with me..

Who cares what her race is? I certainly do not care---I say let her speak her mind any time she wants. Put her on television daily....it would only help "JFK"s Republican opponent....GWB.

I want to see her in a debate with Laura Bush! Bring it on and give me some popcorn, no a nice CAO or Pedromo and I will enjoy watching Laura cut her to shreds! Just as GWB will do to jfk!

I think the inference was about her non American nationality and preference for and support of foriegn rather than domestic companies, values and policies.
But somehow it has been turned into a racial issue. WOW

What is she the first black first lady canidate? and all the time I thought she was white. coulda fooled me
