Anthrax info to pass on to anyone you wish: http://smartandrich.com/vaccs.html

I'm glad I retired when i did 'cause this would have forced me out. I don't believe it is safe myself but you may have a different opinion.

I Don't believe it is safe either AVB and I'm living walking Proof it's not....

I can relate to SSgt. Eddie Norman almost 100% accept he did make it to a proper MEB and PEB ... myself was denied this along with much more...

Thanks for the Link!!!!

That's one of the reasons I left the Air Force. Too many airmen weren't getting the treatment they deserved. Too many dependents weren't getting the treatment they deserved. The military just doesn't do enough to retain its members.

Hog... What happened to you with the military? I saw in one of your other posts that you did 18 1/2 years active. Did they force you out with what used to be called the Qualitative Management Program, were you medically retired, or what?

I knew a SSG at Ft. Lewis in '87 that was forced out with 17 years active duty because someone at DA thought that a comment on one of his EERs a few years prior made him not eligible to continue service until retirement. Our Colonel at the time even called DA to support the soldier, but it didn't change their decision. He was a pretty good troop too, I didn't see anything in his duty performance that would have warrented him being involentarily dismissed from the military. JMHO...

nealep,

long story short.. I came home from a deployment in 2002 sick. when I went to my base and command for help I was shunned... "they" someone lost my line of duty paperwork and for months nothing that was suppose to have been getting paid wasn't... as my doctors did more tests and diagnosis on me I kept with the issue's of these bills not being covered.. so this led to a disgruntalment between my supervision and myself...

instead of standing up for one of their own they turned their cheeks and did a cover-up on all the paperwork..

which 24 months later and after doctors have found out the reasons of my ailments.. I was Honorably discharged without the proper rights to an actual MEB or proper PEB through the Air Force System... thus denying myself any medical coverage nor benefits of retirements until age 60 at which my military retirement will kick in and I'll get a nice monthly check somewheres around $310.00 a month...

the cause for my ailments are listed in the link above... Anthrax Vaccines I was Manditorly Ordered to take as I did so because of what at the time and evidence the DOD at that time and today are telling the troops are Safe... WRONG...

the rest of the story is in the hands of Attorney's who are fighting for my rights so I cannot go into any further details on this part....

But I can Say this... Manditory Vaccines (Anthrax)(Small Pox)that have hindered our Military Fighting Men and Women and have Taken Many out of the Fight before they get a chance to Fight all in the name of "Lining the Old Pocket" of heavey duty politicians is a CRIME!!!!!!!

If it hadn't been for what happened to me I would still be in the Service and Still doing my part to keep America Free!!!!

it will all come out in the Wash...

Hog...

WOW!! That sucks big time, but unfortunatly isn't an uncommon story (the cover-up). So many good people get hammered by the "system" protecting themselfs, it has always made me angry with the military, and the government in general.

I wish you the best of luck, and let the lawyers rip them a new one!!

Thanks nealep,

I'm not angry with the Military, upset with the Government Policy which was inacted by Clinton and Bush could have done away with the Manditory shots Orders also.. but it is "Big Business" and soon somehow something is going to happen to where this Big Business is going to be open to the Public?? as to what and how I can only pray for my Country and Countryman...

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/07/21/bush.vaccine.ap/index.html
U.S. officials are hoping that Project BioShield, which Bush signed into law, will yield enough new-generation anthrax vaccine to dose 25 million people. Federal health officials also hope that the $5.6 billion program will provide antidotes for botulism and anthrax, a safer smallpox vaccine and a long-awaited children's version of an anti-radiation pill.

As AVB pointed out in his link above... Dr. Merle Nass is one person who cares whats going on and as more people become aware of this issue with the troops more people can raise a voice to their polititions to make a change...

hog, i keep you in my prayers, bro. i know it's an ongoing, uphill battle, and if i can do anything to help, know that i'm still here and willing.

remember the soldier i wrote you about? i knew his parents. never did hear back from them after giving them all that info you passed along. knowing how much faith they put in the govt., i'm afraid they were afraid to "make waves" with the military. sad.
