The Bush administration was dead set against federalizing baggage inspectors, prefering to keep them in the private sector paid about $6 an hour. When it finally came down and they relented and then bragged at what they had done. The same with a cabinet level position of a Director of Homeland Security. 100% against it the administration was. When it finally happened the bragged look what we have done. Now, the 911 Commision recommends an Intelligence Czar that reports directly to the President and has access to all intelligence. The Administration was dead set against it and then appointed someone to do a quasi-position that was not fully vested with all the powers suggested by the Committee. Once again bragging "look what we have done!" Flip-Flop. Flip-Flop. Flip-Flop.

These are significant, serious flip-flops and a "rush" type figure did not propagandize me. I used my own faculties to devine the issues. If more people reasoned for themselves instead of following some talking head and party talking points, we could take back this country! Wake-up America!

hear, hear!

by doing my own research i found that bush is an EXTREME flip-flopper. first he hates a program, then he steals it and claims the glory, then when the press is gone and the hoopla's died down, he guts the budgets of programs he was just bragging about! gah!

thing is, folks that are staunchly pro-bush will skewer kerry for "flip flopping," but when bush pulls this crap, "oh, he just changed his mind once he got the scoop on it..." will they say that about kerry, though? fuhgeddabowdit! lol

it's all just a game of words to many. that's all great for a good chuckle, but when it comes back to bite us in the butt the fingerpointing tactics kind of lose their humorous edge.

It's a little known fact, all politicians must take and pass a "Flip/Flop" test before they are allowed to run for office.
