Fact, John Kerry volunteered for military service in Vietnam and served heroicly. Fact, ****** Cheney and GW did not.
Fact, these people slandering John Kerry about his service and medals are political whores and scumbags. I don't care what politics are, that is dispicable.
Fact, Sen. John McCain feels exactly this way about such disgusting politcal lowlife machinations.
All this type of anti-american politics is a load of horse****! It is disgusting what depths people will stoop to in politics.

People who spread such dispicable lies are not worth pulling from a river in Vietnam or any other hellhole!Period!

most simply served IN THE SAME WAR as kerry -- not "with him" as in "same missions" as kerry.

the swift vote vets for truth have been debunked -- by oral report and by the ringleader's own military records -- pretty thoroughly. those who were on the mission the SBVFT decry as a "lie" have stated for the record that the SBVFT are the ones who are lying.

the most recent fellow swif boater to step forward (who actually WAS on that mission), Rood, also the editor for the chicago tribune, decried the SBVFT's account as being "untrue." he also blasted the SBVFT for slandering the military actions of ALL the vets who were on kerry's boat during that mission.

i just started a post about Rood's comments; you can read the whole story there.

i am not a kerry fan, and i disagree with his reasoning about why the swift vote vets are doing what they're doing (see the story), but i think it is the most dishonorable behavior to trash a veteran's reputation when it has been proven by his own men (at least to my satisfaction) that the SBVFT are lying -- now and back when they tried to do the same thing to war hero john mcclain, a man i respect very highly and unabashedly.

So answer me the Damn Question I have been asking on all these Threads...

Why hasn't Kerry or Kerry's Camp filed charges directly against these individuals for their statements if they be false?

you can sue someone for Slander if this be the case...

Yet Kerry and Camp chooses to go after the Media or the FEC to shut these people down...

he's no Patriot he's a fugin Trator and should be brought up on Treason Charges at the minimum...

served 4 months in Nam.. then came home and SPIT on America... in his OWN Words.... you can listen to what he said or read it... from his OWN Words!!!!

Bush still has a Country to Run and he's been doing a fine job at it... he's not even lost his cool after the crap that Moveon and other places to the Dems have tried since 2000 to demoralize the man..

John Kerry on the other hand is coming unglued and blaming and pointing the finger at everyone else other then himself.. as to what these Veterans are doin with their ads...
Plain and Simple... if these guy's are lying and this would be seen as Slander.. then John Kerry needs to have his camp file lawsuits against each and every one of them... but he wont and you know why??

Because when it gets to the courts... the TRUTH will have to come out.. and John Kerry's Lying will be under oath.. he doesn't want this.. thus he blames everone else for this...

hog, i disagree. kerry, too, has major Stuff To Do. and bush *is* having his own hissy fit about it by pointing fingers at kerry over the moveon.org ads.

bush, in fact, filed a grievance with the feds over the moveon.org ads -- before kerry did the same over the SBVFT ads.

imo, both men are doing just about the same things. ***BOTH*** of them:

- filed grievances with the feds
- publically decry the "other side's" ads
- are calling for the other candidate to denounce the respective ads
- cast aspersions on the other candidate for not doing so.

I never been to Knoxville but I heard it is a great place to live. I never **** yellow in my life, please do not judge anyone by the color of your own ****.

Hog, check you legal books! The book "Unfit for Command" is printed and published! If it can be shown to be false, the charge would be LIBEL, a tad more serious that simple slander, but still no charges filed against the author. WHY?
Puff, you ought to make sure of who you're talking to befor you go telling someone that the likes of Kerry fought their battles for them, I WAS too young for Viet Nam, but I've spnt alot of time recently in the Gulf, and was glad we had Aegis, TLAMs, and alot of other stuff that Kerry has voted against over the past twenty years! Who CARES about thirty years ago! Get OVER it! he spent less time doing his job in the senate than they Democrats say Bush did in the Alabama Air Guard! and when he was gone, he did better that he did when present! I STILL have yet to hear Kerry brag on a SINGLE thing he's done in office! WHY? BECAUSE HE HAS NO SUBSTANCE!

I have never accused Kerry of lying about his war record...I have only been critical of the fact that he suddenly became a Military man after 20 years on voting against virtually every military appropriation bill in Congress and after "tossing" his medals over the fence and pointing the finger at other service men saying we committed attrocities against the poor Viet Cong!

He does have the propensity to shade the truth quite a bit, but one thing is for sure, if Vietnam service gets you qualitfied to be President, then there are a whole hell of a lot of us that are qualified and these two are the best we can get? Huh? I will go with the one I know...GWB, but.......only because Mr Kerry does not fit in the White House.

How on earth does Kerry expect to glide into office on a military record when he essentially cleansed himself of his duty via his Veterans against the War group and his treasonous Jane Fonda impersonations?

Furthermore, he honestly expects the American voter to look at his 4 months in Vietnam, rather than his 240 months as a Senator???

I realize that many folks will vote "anti-Bush" this coming election. Wars will do that to the imcumbant.
But I can not fathom how anybody with any common sense can vote "pro-Kerry".

I'm open to retorts, but fear that none will contain substance.
