Ya know... this board has become nothing but political propaganda bullsh*t. You got your opinions, I got mine... lets just PLEASE leave it at that. It used to be fun to come here and read posts about all kinds of things. Now it is just bickering between people who have different political views.

I'm HAPPY to be on deployment and NOT visiting this place regularly now. This joint has gone to hell in a handbasket. Lets liven things up a bit and quit talking politics. It isn't like you're going to influence the outcome here. Go vote and be done with it. But for Heaven's sake quit trying to jam your opinions down each others' throats... it's pointless.

If you don't like the political posts, don't read them.
I happen to enjoy the useless blather, name calling, bull baiting, brow beating, misinformation dissemination by the uninformed and semi-informed, of which I am certainly one or the other or maybe something else.

You fight the good fight so we have the freedom to discuss, argue (heatedly at times) politics. That is what the war in Iraq is for, freedom, especially freedom of speech. Please do not ask us to set aside our freedom of speech because it offends you, while you are so gallantly fighting for the freedom of speech for all of Iraq.

CW - it ain't cooled down a bit. It's hot and humid and miserable. BUT, I ain't gonna bitch too loud, because I ain't out in the sand all the time and after my watch is done, I can shower and soak up some A/C on the ship.

I did go for a ride with the SEAL's the other night. I'm the local drug expert and they required my expertise (I have a field testing kit and I know how to use it). Apparently they found a dhow smuggling, so they stopped by the ship in a MK 5 and took me way up into the KAA in the middle of the night. It was AWESOME! Those MK 5 boats are so fast it isn't funny. Anyway... we took down this boat and it didn't have anything illegal in it. It was fun to play for a night though, and it was pretty damn scary. Major adrenaline rush. I wanna do it again!

Cool bro! What did you think of the seats on the Mk5. Nice or what? High speed, low drag! The dirty smelly boat guys know their sh*t.

Yeah, all the political BS is unnerving, but it'll never end. That's why I rarely take a peek in the misc forum. The left and right can never find the middle ground.
