well, kids, i've said my piece as much as i'm gonna on these threads. folks will think whatever they will think.

i hope everyone goes to the polls this november and votes for the candidate they think will do the most right by this great country. i hope folks will put aside ALL the hype and look deeper into the issue on their own and without guidance from either the left- or the right-wing media.

screw cnn; screw fox. think for yourself.

as for me, i need time to heal up, and posting passionately on all these political threads isn't helping.

so my plan for now is to chill and tend to my own for awhile. if i'm so overwhelmed that i post a time or two, i hope no one will call me a liar or fling this back in my face -- this is my PLAN, not an absolute. very few things in this wackadoodle life are absolutes (but i thank god, one wonderful absolute, for the things that are!).

i'm not going away, and i'll still be reading as i have time. i'll still be on the other areas here, too; i just need to back off of the back and forth political stuff and TCB for a bit.

This is why I just skim this part of the forum. I mostly read and don't post. I too have been slapped for really no reason other than a different view. I look for a non-political post and I might check it out. I'm going to start the non-political view thread....

thank you all, gentlemen. for the record, i don't feel like i've been smacked down or chased off or anything -- i know i've given as well as i've gotten. :) part of it is, though, that what i've been putting out there into the universe has just been more negativity -- adding more salt to the sea, so to speak. i need to quiddit. :) and seriosly, i need to be typing a lot less and healing a lot more for now. no hard feelings at all, brothers!

and with that -- i shaddup now and just read. :)
