Shows you how desperate the Dems are...how bad can GW be if the Dem Sen leader has to use him in an ad...

Statement by RNC Communications Director Jim **** on Daschle clip
Mon Aug 30 2004 14:36:31 ET

New York -- RNC Communications Director Jim **** made the following statement today:

"Today the Democrats in New York are accusing the President of the United States of failing to lead and win the war on terror. Even Sen. Daschle must find these attacks baseless since his re-election campaign is running commercials embracing (literally hugging) President Bush's leadership in the War on Terror."

Hmmmmm..... Both Slices of Pie??

I like to think of it as talking out of both sides of their face! Curiously, Daschle was the spearhead of the Anti-Bush tax-cut, an d everything else faction for awhile, but since sometime before the primaries started, I haven't heard from him. Maybe he saw what the DNC was fielding and decided to distance himself from the coming debacle. Of course, maybe he agrees with me, and does his dissenting these days behind closed doors, trying to effect change without appearing devisive.
