Ok, lets come up with some great movie quotes, one liners, speeches, etc! Gotta change this board a little!

From Tombstone Val Kilmer to Billy Bob Thornton while talking to the Erps, "Oh, Johnny, I forgot all about you, you may go now"!

Bogey from Casablanca, "of all the gin joints in all the towns in the world, she walks into mine......."

From a more modern cult classic, Old School:

"Sometimes you think you found true love, and then you take the early plane home from San Diego, and a couple of nude people jump out of your bathroom blindfolded, like a go*dam* magic show ready to double team your girlfriend....." Luke Wilson's wedding toast to Will Farrell.

Be advised, I'm mean nasty and tired. I eat concertina wire and piss napalm and I could put a round through a fleas ass at 300 yards. So why don't you hump somebody else's leg mutt-face before I push yours in....Heartbreak Ridge

Connor: We haven't really figured out a system to decide who.

Rocco: Me. I'm the guy. I know everyone. I know their habits, who they hang out with. I got phone numbers, addresses. I know who they're ****, I know where they live. We could kill EVERYONE.

Murphy: So what do you think?

Connor: I'm strangely comfortable with it.

One more from the same movie only because it's very appropriate for today:

Connor: How far are we going to take this, Da?

Il Duce: The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?

Peachy! Why shouldn't I be? The world's my oyster, except for the fact that I just rammed a wooden stake in my brother's heart because he turned into a vampire, even though I don't believe in vampires. Aside from that unfortunate business, everything's hunky-dory

Dr. Evil: Scott, I want you to meet daddy's nemesis, Austin Powers
Scott Evil: What? Are you feeding him? Why don't you just kill him?
Dr. Evil: I have an even better idea. I'm going to place him in an easily escapable situation involving an overly elaborate and exotic death.

[Dr. Evil has left Austin and Vanessa to their doom.]
Scott Evil: Wait, aren't you even going to watch them? They could get away!
Dr. Evil: No, no, no. I'm going to leave them alone and not actually witness them dying. I'm just gonna assume it all went to plan. ...What?

And the GREATEST movie quote of all time....
BULL DURHAM-

Crash Davis : Well, I believe in the soul, the ****, the ****, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days.

Some from Office Space:

Peter: What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man, two chicks at the same time, man.
Peter: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: D@mn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I had a million dollars I could hook that up, cause chicks dig a dude with money.
Peter: Well, not all chicks.
Lawrence: Well the kind of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do.
Peter: Good point.

Bob: Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
Peter: Well, I wouldn't exactly say I've been *missing* it, Bob.

Peter: It's not that I'm lazy; it's that I just don't care.

Ray Kinsella: This is my corn. You people are guests in my corn.

Terence Mann: Oh my God.
Ray Kinsella : What?
Terence Mann : You're from the Sixties.

[Archie's at bat and is almost hit by the pitcher's throws, twice]
Archie Graham : Hey ump, how 'bout a warning?
Clean-shaven Umpire : Sure, kid. Watch out you don't get killed.

Terence Mann: "Ray, people will come Ray. They'll come to Iowa for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up your driveway not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at your door as innocent as children, longing for the past. Of course, we won't mind if you look around, you'll say. It's only $20 per person. They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack. And they'll walk out to the bleachers; sit in shirtsleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere along one of the baselines, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come Ray. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come."

The following is not a political statement. (although there are probably a few who will view it as such.) It is simply a reply to this thread. Heh Heh

"Where in the hell are you from anyway private?

Sir, Texas sir!

Holy dog****! Texas! Only steers and queers come from Texas Private Cowboy and you don't much look like a steer to me so that kind of narrows it down."

Charlie,

Field of Dreams is one my top 5 favorite movies oa all time. Have you seen the newly released DVD? There is a cool extra that has Kevin Costner inviting Johnny Bench, Brett Saberhagen and another former major leaguer who's name I can't recall right now talking about the movie after they watched it at Costners house. Some other great extra's also. If you are interested, I can make you a copy. If so, email me at
