I saw follow up on this the same as any questionable allegations. If you haven't noticed I haven't had any comment on these documents in question.

BTW, you need to run your stuff through a some type of checker before you post. It helps with making your points if they make sense. I.E. waist for waste, your for you're, red for read etc. etc.. We all make mistakes in spelling and God knows I'm not the best, that's why I follow my own advice.

Rather reminds me of the LAPD in the OJ case, thinking they were doing God's work by framing a guilty man.

why is it with all the documented proof of w's total incompetance in college, in the guard, in business, and as "leader" of the free world, some of you spend your waking moments looking for some little anything, proven or not, rumor not, innuendo or not, regardless of the source, that might make kerry look bad.

there is enough amunition about bush that would make most intelligent people think twice before they would trust him with anything.

i'll tell you what i told thom, for what it's worth to you. some people don't spell well or use proper grammer. neither negates their point of view.

it's sort of a no, no to mention it.

Rick,

I know not to kill the messenger but one does pay more attention to the message when it is presented correctly.
Some people I know use Aspell as an add-in for message boards and they seem to like it. I do C&P in Word myself.

Eleltea, check out Hogs post regarding Bush's TOTAL records, if he was short in '72, he did enough drills in the first three years to have fulfilled the requirements for his WHOLE obligation! How do you equate the smear-job the DNC is doing on his service to "framing a guilty man". And WHY is a light once over deemed to clear any allegations against Kerry, but a Federal Judge orders the Pentagon to locate ALL of Bush's records immediately. I personally think making this whole race about military service done thirty years ago is BULLS**T, but that's the focus Kery took, and considering ALL he's done since his return, I can't blame him for running on ancient history, when he was doing what he was MADE to do, rather than what he did on his own! If they ARE going to just re-hash ancient history, then they should at least be fair about it, and subject Kerry to the same caustic scrutiny as Bush, but the press and the courts give HIM a pass!

Rick,

You were quite correct when you said in part, "...looking for some little anything, proven or not, rumor not, innuendo or not, regardless of the source, that might make kerry look bad."

All we need to do is examine Kerry’s record of accomplishment(?) in congress. Then compare that to GWB's record as the President and a wartime Commander in Chief.

After that and assuming you are not a blind yellow dog democrat, Osama Ben Laden or Jacque Sh|trak, you will vote for Bush.

Rick has already stated that if Kerry was a child molester, he would still vote for him over Bush, so go figure

CWFoster,

Good point, I should have said, "After that and assuming you are not Rick, a blind yellow dog democrat, Osama Ben Laden or Jacque Sh|trak, you will vote for Bush.

i try not to post on the political stuff here any more -- i'm just tired of the same old stuff day after day by the same sources. part of me feels like dredging up all the anti-bush stuff out there just for some balance, but then i'd be doing the same thing i hate to see and littering up the forum twice as much. i don't want to do that. it's not that the info isn't out there -- it is. but i'm just sick of seeing thread after thread after thread about kerry. most of the time no one even bothers to even ATTEMPT to refute it -- not because there's nothing to say but just because it's all just been DONE TO DEATH.

hog, we know how you feel, and i love you like a brother, man, but PLEASE consider giving it a break. i know you have a lot more to say than posting 20 different individual threads on why you think kerry sucks! lol it's perfectly your right to keep posting this stuff as many times as you please, but i'm asking you as a favor to think about giving it a rest, buddy. i enjoy your posts a lot, but i don't even bother reading most of them now -- anything political i don't bother with, and i wouldn't have bothered with this one either except to ask you to please please please talk about something else?

NewsMax Poll: Dan Rather Must Resign
Millions of Americans are outraged by CBS News and Dan Rather for their obstinance in admitting they used forged documents to indict the military record of George W. Bush.

In an online survey completed this week, and with more than 100,000 respondents, NewsMax readers overwhelming believe that Dan Rather should resign as anchor for the CBS Evening News.

Mr. Rather's position may have been further weakened when:

a) it was revealed that CBS purposefully withheld from their
'60 Minutes' program forensic experts who said the documents were fraudulent;

b) after it was clear the documents were found to be fraudulent, Rather and Company continued to argue their story was essentially accurate; and

c) one witness, a fellow guardsman during Bush's time in service, was not allowed to appear on the CBS program because he was "too pro Bush."

But the NewsMax poll results show that the American people have not been fooled by CBS. The Tiffany Network's credibility may be completely lost -- unless Dan Rather accepts responsibility and resigns.

Here are the NewsMax Poll Results:

1) Do you believe CBS and Dan Rather used forged documents to make allegations about George Bush's National Guard service?

Yes - 98.27%
No - 1.73%

2) Do you agree with Dan Rather that his story questioning George Bush's service is still true?

Agree - 2.62%
Disagree - 97.38%

3) Should Dan Rather resign over the CBS story that used these questionable documents?

Yes - 94.05%
No - 5.95%

4) Who do you believe most about their account of their military record?

Bush - 87.74%
Kerry - 1.39%
Both - 4.35%
Neither - 6.52%

hog, i don't make wagers that i don't firmly believe that i'll win, so i can't take you up on it. i believe that bush will win the election. people don't tend to switch presidents mid-war. i think the election will be close, but i think bush will (god help us) win a second term.
