i wonder why i don't see that on the reelect bush sites. hmmm, strange. i hope the bush camp doesn't think much about it. i believe they will be in for a surprise when the gi vote is counted. it's a shame it is a secret ballot, they will not be able to punish the gi offenders who didn't vote "correctly.

and don't forget breslin's column i posted about the lack of polling of cell phone users. these are mostly 18-25 year olds, and they may be another block that doesn't want to be drafted and there are millions of them uncounted.

maybe the republicans are in for a november surprise.

Can't please everybody!

If you're hoping for the military vote to jump ship and swing to Kerry you've got a surprise in November.

My question is are they going to count their votes this time or supress them like the dems did in 2000?

As a retired military guy that still works on an air force base I can attest to the fact that there are democrats in the military. I can even go so far as to say that there are people that don't think that GWB is doing a great job a president. I hear stuff all the time out in the smoke break area or over cubicle walls. It definitely something people talk about. There is also a lot of sentiment expressed that it's unfortunate that the democrats couldn't have put forward a better candidate.

I hear stuff even from younger folks that don't even remember vietnam but they have a hard time dealing with Kerry's actions after he came home. It kind of a brotherhood thing and even the young guys think he dishonored his brothers with his statements.

I honestly believe that Kerry is a terrible candidate to try to sway military voters because many don't respect him. You can say that he earned 3 purple hearts. But to the guys that have served and are still serving, those purple hearts are an issue. His words are an issue. In an environment where honor and integrity aren't just words many see Kerry as an opportunist and a glory hound.

Allot of the Military Members over sea's have yet to receive there Absentee Ballots...

the dems did a good job holding them up with their battle with Nadar...

Now what are they going to pull come Nov. to restrict the counting of the absentee ballots?? My Money is they have something up their sleeve just like last time... past practice ;0)

Is it getting so hard to find anti Bush crap that some people have to rely on a drunk, hasbeen, liar **** for information ie: jimmy breslin. Especially an individual who did not vote in the last Presidential election.

This was written by Ann Scott Tyson of The Christian Science Monitor. Jimmy Breslen doesn't have anything to do with it.

Once again... you guys just don't get it. The article clearly states "a strident minority". One of the soldiers states that 9 out of 10 soldiers are in support of Kerry. I wonder how many soldiers in Vietnam were for Johnson or for Nixon??? Probably a lot less than that.

If the military is 90% in support of the President, Kerry's in a world of $hit.

"Especially an individual who did not vote in the last Presidential election."

if you are refering to me, you have a selective memory. i said i was not on the same voter registration i have been on since the early 70's and not permited to vote. toby however registered as a republican was still on the registration.
