A while back there were a couple of threads about Felipe Gregorio's Poderoza. Some people liked them, others found the draw on some difficult. I bought a bundle of churchhills that were, for the most part, an excellent value. After letting them rest in a cooler, then in a dry box before smoking, I found them to be, for the most part, cured of the draw problem. While scanning another forum, I came across this review:
"I just got a bundle of the Robustos and they are very nice looking. Dark Brown and box-pressed, almost looks like a CAO Extreme. I proceeded to light one of these babies up and I am glad I did! They aren't strong at all, but the flavors are like a Cupido Toro-Negro. Very-complex tasting. There were burnt sugar and caramel tastes with a hint of cocoa mixed in...EXCELLENT! They were mild to me, but the aroma was fantastic and added to the smoking pleasure!I like cigars with good aroma and this one had everything you could ask for in a cigar! Very-Impressed! The price is a real-bargain too! I'll be getting more of these!"
My thanks to the author of that review from the other forum. On the basis of that review I picked up a bundle of robustos tonight for just $16.00. Steve*R
