I've sent personal e-mails to all the guys in or near the SF Bay area whose addies I have, but for the rest of you whose addies I don't have or for those who don't live in the area, but will be visiting here, one of the better local stores in the Bay Area will be having a big turkey BBQ on Sat, 10/2 ...
9 turkeys will be fried, smoked or BBQd and served up with plenty of trimmings and some home-brewed ale ...
$15 pays for lunch plus one of Joya de Nicaragua's new cigars, the Celebracion
Weather is nearly always great this time of year and the forecast for Saturday is fabulous ... so ... bring a friend and/or your s.o. to Mission Pipe Shop on Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton ... noon 'til 4 ...

Beat Dragon,

Too bad I cannot attend this "Turkey Jerk"! I would have brought you a nice Bucaneer Full Sail or two!

You guys have lots of fun!

??? Do I owe SteveS cigars?

No offense meant to the others in San Francisco area. Beat just holds a special place in my heart as a fellow musician. Ttiple Dang for missing a great chance to meet with all in the area.

Next Friday my wife and I are flying to Ireland. Any BOTL/SOTL there?

Hey there,
I am new to the cigar bidding world but one of my coworkers picked me up some excellent Cubans (punch) on her last trip to Ireland. I guess that you can get some nice smokes in duty free...and don't forget the Guinness. Good luck.

Plan to pick up a few ISOM. Penguin (who I haven't seen post here in quite awhile) told me about a great smoke shop in Dublin.

And of course as long as I'm there I'll go on the Guniess tour. (Sorry for the threadjack SteveS)
