...that lived in my neighborhood. Real goofball of a kid. He thought everything was funny, and loved being the center of attention at all costs. If you passed him the ball, he would run to the wrong endzone. In "cops & robbers", he would "go rogue" and shoot his fellow officers. He thought it was all funny. Sure, we would beat the crap outta him like clockwork, but he always came back for more. Well one day, I get sent home from school for taking the crime to this punk. Dad chews me out good and I defend myself by laying the whole story out for the old man. He said, "Son, this kid loves the attention. That's why he acts like a flaming moron. Even when ya'll pound him, he gets a kick out of it! He obviously doesn't get any attention at home and is probably the victim of repeated sexual abuse at the hands of his overbearing, alcoholic father. I'm sure he is a cronic bed-wetter, who enjoys wearing his mom's dresses and plays with himself in the tub. Son, if you and your buddies want to get rid of him, just ignore him...regardless of what he says or does, you guys ignore him. Pretend he is invisible, that you can't see or hear him....just ignore him. Responding to him in ANY way will only encourage him. Just ignore him and he will eventually go away."
