AVB
one point you have not become aware of yet. something i learned on these boards a long time
ago, which allows me to play around with anything i want and get almost any response i want, is
the fact that "bush people" accept him, i guess i should type Him, on faith alone.
while there is nothing wrong with faith for a religeous philosophy, one shouldn't have faith in a
used car salesman, or in a president. one needs to take the used car to a mechanic, and one
needs to investigate, with an open mind, what the man has done as president, not what he said he
has done.
example support the troops,
cut funding.
no child left behind,
cut funding.
assist citizens in obtaining prescription drugs that are affordable,
prevent citizens from obtaining cheaper prescritptions drugs from canada.
on this board, factual information that does not fit the faith, is dismissed. once you make the "leap
of faith" in a religeous context, you close input. there is no reason for input, because you are
dealing with faith, and no information contrary will be considered.
it's faith or fact, and faith is stronger.
i hate to bring tony into this, but i do not understand, nor care to, why someone prays for help to
the same entity that allowed his accident to happen, but, in my case i don't have "faith," so i am
not able to make a judgment
you only have a few more weeks until election, and then we will start arguing about football and
basketball, with a occassional reference to "slick willy" and "gore the bore", so enjoy these last few
weeks, and "pray" that there are more voters that vote for kerry, and "pray" the administration
does not come up with marchall law or a nuclear threat, or some other way of overturning the
election, so that the moron running this country can continue to rule.
