I will be so glad when the elections are over. Being on the state border I get to see double the local ads and it gets old real fast.

So who will be going out Nov 20th for the first day of IL firearm season for deer? I just picked up some samples of deer sausage so I can compare. I have to find a new shop to make sausage last year's sucked. I butcher myself so it is about $2.50 per lb to have the sausage made.

I'll be out Nov. 15 for Michigan's opener and again first Monday in December for Ohio's. And I, too, am way, way sick of politics. Just a couple of weeks, then we'll be back to the normal amount of whining and sniping for the next 3 1/2 years.

If Bush wins the election I'll be quiet on the subject and won't complain at all ... but Rickamaven, on the other hand, will bury us in sniping ... if Kerry wins, Rick will be the quiet one and it'll be my turn in the sniping barrel.
