I never thought my 4 year old would call me dude and tell me that he rules at PC games like Jimmy Neutron and Buzz Lightyear.

I never thought he would not only be able to boot my PC but actually load software.

He would climb into my bed every morning before I get up for work to snuggle.

He is the first to welcome me home from work everyday by attaching to my leg as I walk through the house.

He is the most patiient fisherman of all my kids. He refuses to go home much like my 8 year old used to.

He surpirised me the other day when he told me he wanted to go live at his preschool(I have a stay at home wife).

The other 2 are a blast also but he has taken on so much of their personalities that it is comical.

Very cool bass...

Kids can be very cool and comical. I'm glad you really enjoy him. The teen years are the toughest though.

Great post... made me water up thinking about the years with my kids and the things we did while they were growing up... cherrished memories is something no one can take away...

Yeah, bass, I have 3 boys and the 4yr. old is the same as yours!
He loves to be with his pop but the other day he told me to be quiet 'cause he was "busy" & didn't want to hear my yammerin'. LOL!

I'll never forget the time I was driving with my daughter (3 now, but was about 15 months at the time) and I was singing her a song that I thought she liked. I glanced into the rearview mirror and she had her hands over her ears. Not exactly a booster to my morale when a 1 year old can't stand my singing voice.
