If it wasn't for Pujols, the Cards would barely be a 500 team. I'm stunned that a team lacking any depth would whoop so much tail.

Pitching wins championships. Sure, having a killer lineup with Pujols, Rolen, Edmonds, Walker, Sanders, Renteria will only beat Boston if the bullpen can hold Boston's lineup. Both teams can score tons of runs. Boston is a very heavy left handed lineup. St. Louis is balanced now with Larry Walker to compliment Jim Edmonds from the left side. I believe that St. Louis has the edge in this series. But, it's the World Series. Anything can happen. The best bullpen will win the series.
