don't flip out over this. the golden globes do not have a documentry catagory, so fahrenheit 911 can't be included in their awards. nothing political about it at all.

Say what you will about Moore (and I don't have that much respect for him either) ...

... but his documentary joined the $100 million club and became the first documentary ever to top that mark at the domestic box office.

The previous best domestic gross for a feature-length documentary was $21.6 million for Moore’s Academy Award-winning “Bowling for Columbine.” That film took nine months to hit that level, while “Fahrenheit 9/11” did more business, $23.9 million, in just its first weekend.

He's taking all this public ridicule all the way to the bank ...

Can we please stop referring to the movie as a documentary? That's not what it is.

Calling it a documentary IS quite misleading because the word itself carries an implication of containing facts ... and that blob of sh*t michael moore is counting on that in diseminating his stream of lies and distorted half-truths ... I can't count the number of letters to the editor in several newspapers I saw that said something to the effect of "well, it MUST be true ... after all, it was in a documentary" ...

The fact that Slim's right about moore laughing all the way to the bank is unfortunate in the extreme, but proof if such is needed that PT Barnum was right ...
