I've observed a lot of people on this site are way pro-miltary stuff. It's true, I myself am a piece...I mean peace lover. I have, however, been fortunate enough to fall upon an exhibitionist young soldier who authors a website (his blogs were recently banned by the miltary, but due to popular demand...) about his doings in Iraq. I get a bit nauseated at times by all the freedom and liberty junk, and that's why I kind dig young Jason's writing; he likes fighting, not for honor, but because, by-god it's bloody good fun! He fights, not out of long-suffering for the masses, but for selfish, personal reasons. Anyways, however you feel about the meta-politics & ethics of it all, you're bound to enjoy young Jason's writing from the field. Enjoy!:

this reminds me of an AF major I became friends with while doing a tour in PSAB... poor bastage was sent their for an 18 month drying out period... said his CO after a second DUI offence had him permanent party deployed rather then jail time... he had some pretty good speaches and his job at the Jab was working in Persco LOL...

he told me his career was going to be top level major and wont be promoted any further... I think the sun was getting to him allot because he could always talk about issue's like this Sarg on the site you listed CP...
