I was rather surprised to see the Oliva "O" torpedo up for bid. These have been quite difficult to obtain. They are a very fine cigar. I was surprised to read the accompanying copy that kept referring to Habano tobacco. This may be Cuban seed tobacco, but for those unfamiliar with the brand, this is certainly not a Cuban cigar. (I don't believe the copywriter intended to give that impression either.) It is not a Habano, as Cuban puros are often called, but, still a wonderful cigar.

They're difficult to find because they just absolutely suck and nobody wants them. Disregard the fact I just put in a bid on these. Doing my part to rid the world of bad cigars.

Opened today -- 5-pack. These really are good. I had my first a few weeks ago, thanks to unklebill and his generosity.

Yea like CL said, they are real dog rockets and should be avoided at all costs. The cloth bands are nice, but not worth the price of the cigars.... geez I hope this works.....

Steve and Robert, you're both good men. I see you're both still hanging in there. I got knocked out earlier. Stay true to the cause; keep others away from this foul cigar. I'll be on the lookout for other bids on this one.

God, what a piece of trash you guys are bidding on. Just wasting space and wasting your money. If you want acrid nasty smokes that make your teeth fall out, keep bidding. I can't believe I talk to you clowns.

I'm out for awhile. They're a good cigar, but if Rick is correct at $45.00 for the five pack, I'm out for good on this one. I can buy decent Cubans, delivered, for less. I've traded for a couple of Oliva Os and actually, in terms of dollar for dollar trade, paid about $9.00 each, but because I traded, I convince myself it's okay because the money was already spent.

I can buy the "O's" at the local shop for $6.50 each. I have tried a few, they are good, but they are not worth buying on a regular basis, even at that price.
