Guess they aren't going to go after Renteria like I had hoped. I know they needed a shortstop, but one without so many miles and a bigger bat would have been nice. He still has an excellent glove tho. He can really pick it a short. Prolly the second best defensive shortstop ever next to the Wizard. Highest lifetime fielding percentage for any shortstop with a 1000 games played.

But hes 37.....

I guess we will see. Maybe he can still save a team a 100 runs a year with that glove.

Thats a start for sure.
Barry was public and wanted the management to go after a big bat, but Sabean said Barry is allowed his opinion. Management has finally realized they need relief pitching and that seems to be a higher priority right now. Hopefully they will spend some money and go after Beltran too. Now that would be nice and give us a better chance to win.

We lost a great player, and an even better person here. Omar did a lot for the local charities. Unfortunately, the Indians are run by a bunch of cheapskates.
