Hey Tailgater, In case you can't remember the rules I have put a few stars around the rule that you think does not apply to you!!!! I have made NO personal attacks on you, so I am puzzled as to why you feel the need to make derogatory comments directed towards me. Usually, the inability to intellectually debate a subject leads to such actions.................................................

Nice job with the cut and paste, can you post wany's thesis for me. Since I am "political reporter" as you called me (man I feel disparaged)I will attempt to evaluate your statement: You are saying that Mr. Tailgater made a disparaging comment about you. Definition of disparaging: "To match unqually, to degrade or dishonor by an unequal marriage." and although you might be unable to match wits with tailgater, saying you are a maladjusted spendthrift is not derogatory nor disparaging given the fact you are an admitted overbidder.

Mr. Bennett, Actually, as defined by Webster’s, the word disparage comes from the word “dispararagen to degrade by marriage below one’s class. 1: to lower in rank or reputation :Degrade 2: to depreciate by indirect means (as invidious comparison): speak slightingly about”. Mr. Tailgater referred to me as birdbrain in a previous thread, how original, the last time I heard that one I was in grade school, and this thread as Maladjusted Spendthrift. As far as the meaning of the word disparaging, I think that Cbid’s intent is clear, they don’t want you to speak slightingly about anyone person, business or web site.

Dude, Chill out. you should really stop trying to teach the people who have been here almost since the opening of the site the rules. Tailgater, shame on you, you should be punished, now take a timeout and sit in the corner with your favorite cigar to ponder your (rather funny)actions. Speaking if tailgater, do you know what that stands for :Tailgater's Attitude Is Legitamatly Getting Applause and Thanks from Everyone, Robert.

Mr. Parrot, You haven't had much time to research MSRP's and overbid lately with all of these long, drawn out posts! Obviously, the name-calling incident that you recalled from grade school has had a profound affect on you. Are you by chance related to cigsmoke?

I thought gater's original post was pretty funny, and didn't sense any malice from it. We all get ribbed here, so learn to laugh at yourself. As far as this semiotics debate... who cares!?

Robert. Tailgater won that round. You lost your cool. It's all friendly banter. If I called Tailgater an
inbred bedwetter, he wouldn't get mad. He'd laugh and lob one back at me. He's pretty quick for an inbred bedwetter. LOL

That's right, Bird-man. And if Jack were so insensitive as to remind all of my branchless family tree or my nocturnal inconstinance, I would still refuse to mention "The Incident". At least until the gerbils regain their motor skills...
