Well, I acutally got my personalized cigars but there's a problem. They came 2 in 1 box. 1 has my name and the other has my friends name. I thought they would each be in thier own box. Hence my delimma, do I give my friend his 1 cigar with his name on it and keep the box or do I pull out the cigar with my name and give him the box? Anyone else have the same problem or am I the only one to even get these things? Maybe I'll smoke them both and give the box away, not. Barry

My local smoke shop didn't know anything about them either untill I went in asking about them. That was sometime in the summer. She had forgotten about it untill last week when she got in a big box of little boxes with all her customers names on them. So if you're expecting them and haven't heard anything, they're probably in the mail, ya, that's it, they're in the mail.

Hmmmm cigars showing up, and altadis is making the rounds to local shops. Coincidence? I think not. Take the band off of your buddies stick, and put it on a Acid. Problem solved.

LOL.Hey I was over at a Cigar friendly Brewery/Resturant Called Taps in Brea,Ca last night.I smoked a Cuban Parejo Maduro,a Cammacho Habana and an old blend Ramone Allones. They had some of the Pumkin Ale on tap,so I tried it.Pretty good stuff (Tastey)I mean you couldn't drink it every day but for the holidays it really was good.I may just do a batch. My next one will probably be an Oatmeal Stout(simular to Samuel Smiths)though.Man I like that stuff.Later Cliff hope you get over your Kolsch soon enough and are felling better.Remember relax have a home brew.Hehehe

I'm feeling better already -- going home to brew a batch of Oatmeal Porter! Of course I'll continue to get over my Kolsch as I brew. I found the Oatmeal Porter recipe in a regional publication. It's probably similar to what you're about to brew but lighter. The guys at the homebrew shop hadn't heard of it before but said it looked good. To the kitchen!

Using flaked oatmeal? Also, I see the mention of Samuel Smiths (classic) but do you enjoy Samuel Adams Cream Stout? I really like that stout.

This Microbrew convo, though informative, is getting out of control. Maybe you microbrewers can invade the Sports room or the Politics room? You threadjackers. Back to the original post, got my personalized dogrockets on Friday in CT. Finally.

Oops! I guess we did veer a little bit. So, these personalized cigars, are they regular Excaliburs or 1066's? What was the promo?
