I really like the Royal Silk torp I've tried.....I'm curious about how it compares to the churchill

maybe I'll just get the churchill and then I'll know

thanks, nine;)

Get the regular ones - full-bodied, spicy, sweet, earthy, very creamy.

The churchills are stronger and more flavorfull than the torpedoes.

Golds = meh.

Cycleman likes the Churchill, most other guys like Torpedo.

Get a box of each, and let us know what you think.

Michael da Cycle introduced Beez (who, in turn, introduced me) to the regular Royal Silk line...Torps, I think. SUPER YUMMY - went back and bought a box. Got a sampler with golds in it as well - also very good, but I personally prefer the regular.

Oh yes... I love the Churchill Royal Silk. It is the corojo wrapper and found it to be the creamy'est of the line and size. Ton of smoke!!

The Royal Silk GOLD is the Connecticut wrapper.... and it is also a great smoke, but not as full bodied, but pretty darn close.

WARNING: These do tend to stay moist more than other leaf. SO I learned to dry box them to at least 2 to 4 days before smoking. I also took all the bands off them, because it is about the half way point that they are hard to keep lit.... even sitting in 62 humid.

But so worth the effort.

IMHO

I wanted to make sure I came back to discount the Royal Silk cigars and any possitive statement I have made it the past. They sold out to CHEAP! The old bait and switch thing. They WERE delishous.... well rolled.... but now they went cheap and they are even a bad yard gard...........
