Who In THere Right Mind Would Open A Bid With More Then The Minimum Amount.I Have Seen The First Bid Start At Say $5.00 When The Minimum IS A Buck.Can These People Be Helped?

Irritating, I know. Some people just don't bother learning before they do something. I don't see how anyone would do it on purpose if they understood how auto-bid works. If I remember correctly, I think it brings up the minimum bid for all other bidders that come in after this bidder.

If the bid amount was placed by mistake, it is my understanding that there is a fifteen minute window in which the bid can be edited. Therefore, I must conclude that the bidder intended to be beyond help.
