Ladies and Gents- Just received my order of Papayo Robusto Largo's from CB. As you guys and gals know I always try one from the box and age the rest. I was impressed with this cheap....cheap smoke! Scale Rating 1-10...10 being highest First-construction and appearance: 9.5, Burn: 9.5 (very even), Draw: 9.0, Ash:Very white and no splitting 9.5, Taste: very singular and monotone had flavor of roasted almonds 7.0 (singular is not always bad), Overall rating: 9.0! Those of you who have tried them before or received a box from CB may have had different opinion but I can't complain for $17 for 25 in box. Would be a very good daily smoke. Better than my favorite DR Cohiba Lonsdale Grande...no, but price has offset a stubborn pickey person this time!

I haven't even given these cigars a second thought, but maybe now I will try a five pack when up for auction again, thanks for the tip!

I too received my box of Papayos this evening. I had to try one. I'll agree that the construction, draw and burn were all excellent. The flavor was OK. I didn't notice anything specific about the taste but agree that it will be a nice stick to smoke when I'm out in the garden or walking the dog.

I bought a five pack from CB a couple of months ago. Smoked one and gave the rest away. I thought it was one of the worst cigars I ever smoked. They were way tooooo mild for my tastes. Maybe they need to age but in the end my expereince was not a positive one. Personally I am done buying cigars just because they are cheap. I don't have a great deal of leisure time to devote to smoking...so when I do sit down and light one up I want the experience to be pleasurable. Maybe I got a bad batch.....if you guys like them...well then more power to you. If they go up for auction again you won't have to worry about me bidding against you.
