Whoops, sorry for the mistake! I found out that a friend had died at an early age from Heart complications and I was a lot depressed so I lit up a La Gloria Wavell Maduro......great cigar! But it won't bring my pal back! RIP. Charlie

Char sorry for your loss.
Stogie-man I too had to put one of my dogs to sleep, a 13 yr old dalmation. He was my shadow. It's been 3 weeks and I still expect to see him when I get home from work. I'll be thinking of you guys as I relax and light on my ride home.

i put "geordie" to sleep in 1972 at age 16. i have outlived and had to put to sleep "sentry" and "daque".
if i think of heaven at all, it's to see "geordie" again. in your heart, you only have one dog.

Thanks guys. I'm looking at "Tasha" now, sleeping, and thinking that she is doing good on medication. Maybe a little longer. But I know the right thing to do. As much as it will hurt. You hit the nail on the head Rick.

Hi Guys! We celebrated my friends life with some good icgars and nice whiskey! Made it a lot easier and we had one of those reunions that happen as a result of an earlier than expected death of a friend. On the loss of dogs, this I am keenly aware of having to put down a 14 year old Vizsla over a year ago. He was ny shadow and friend and it really hurts. Advice: get another one as soon as possible! Charlie

I've been told that a few times and when the time is right, I will. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done. The house feels a litlle emptier now. We also had a drink and a smoke.

You are the only one who will know when the time is right and that is absolutely the time to make the move! Dogs are so meaningful to us and no matter what you do they are always there to comfort you and be your pal! Wish dogs lived longer! Charlie
