When folks think about the opportunity that America offers, it is unfortunate that many think about the Don Kings of the world. We should instead think of those who made it to the top yet never strayed from common decency. Make your next smoke a dedication to Dave Thomas of Wendy's Hamburger. He passed away after a year of sickness. I didn't know him personally, but I know several people who did and they all said the same thing: the guy in the commercials is not an act. He truly was a nice person.

I refuse to talk bad about the dead, but some of my co-workers have worked with him on his commercials as lighting/gaffers and that's not what they say...Anyhow, I liked the man for the amount of $$$ he gave to charities (such as his adoption foundation)...He should definitely be commended for this.

A friend of mine was an associate of Dave's many years ago, and thinks the world of him! He always said that he was one genuine person and had a heart of gold! Charlie

I always liked Wendy's burgers better than McDonald's and Burger King. He seemed very genuine and kept a great franchise going despite the heavy competition! Jon

Wendy's burgers smoke better and have an easier draw than McDonaldudos and BurgerKristos. I'd say, medium bodied with overtones of grease and strong hints of cholesterol.

I will smoke several cigars for him. I will also smoke cigars for some of the bad guys. That way I can get rid of my dog rockets.
