There are some pretty sharp people in this forum. Why don't you set up a panel of judges for new items, such as the Diesel. You could pick a group of judges at random for an appraisal and send each one the same cigar to evaluate. No offense to Gonz, put I think his taste buds are not the same as some of the taste buds here. Think about it.

Never let it be said that I would turn down an opportunity to judge and evaluate cigars! Charlie

What would be in it for CI? Why would they attempt to sell a cigar that gets a bad review. I assume that they can smoke them themselves and make a decision.

I think CI is much better off having a quality evaluation done. Not all cigars would get a bad review. They would just sell more of the cigars that got good reviews, and have more customer satisfaction, and therefore more sales. I think there would also be more interest. JMHO
