The following was posted on ESPN.COM and brings questions to mind:
NEW YORK -- New England wide receiver Terry Glenn sued the NFL Wednesday, saying it discriminated against him for a disability that prevented him from following certain rules in the league's substance abuse policy.

Glenn

The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, four days before the Patriots face the St. Louis Rams in the Super Bowl in New Orleans, alleged that since at least 1999 Glenn has had chronic depression, a disability recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

I wonder if the Patriot's as a team will file suit after their loss this Sunday for depression? Questions we must ponder for the impending doom that lurks.

Can't recall when a Superbowl Victory ever caused depression for the winning team. Perhaps you are referring to the "let down" after the high? Or perhaps your own Depression from Last Sunday is taking control of your thought process. Watch sunday, as the BEST TEAM IN THE AFC beats the Best Team in the NFC. Perhaps you could offer a support network for all the soon to be jilted St. Louis fans. After all, you've got practice rooting for the LOSING team...

tailgater: to whom are you talking, me or terry glenn? it's not a question of the rams winning, it's will they beat the spread. remember the purpose of the spread is to get equal betting on both sides. it has nothing to do with which team is better. if not enough money flows to the pats, the spread will get bigger. the vig is the thing that makes the bookies king.

Rick, the earlier post was for my friend in Pittsburg. As for the spread, who gives a ****? I watch and attend football games for the game itself, not so some fat bookie can cover the spread or hope for a last second TD in order to beat the "over". I understand the importance of football in the gambling world, I just don't care. Lest you forget, the Pats were around 7 point underdogs in hostile Pittsburg. Not only did the steelers not win by 7, they didn't win.
