Not a bad cigar but most of the box was too tight to smoke.

Are you talking about the Partagas Series S? I found them to be rolled to tight also. And frankly, they are not that great tasting either.

Ever try the Fuente Exquisito?..My tobacconist a few days ago gave me one to try..It's a 3 1/2-4 inch double maduro (maybe oscuro) wrapper..extremely small ring gauge, looks similar to a cigarette in circumference and length...Unbelievably full flavored for such a small cigar...Great for a 15-30 minute break..very slow-burning..If you get a chance to try one, do it...You'll love it...Anyone else ever try one?..Im interestede in hearing other feedback.

this is becoming the latest fad with cigar companies, recognizing that in today's climate it is often not possible for many reasons to be able to enjoy a regular sized cigar, so companies like Fuente make compact smokes, good for as you say 10 to 15 minutes, generally short or medium filler. With regard to the Partagas Series S, I have had two and loved both of them, well maybe love too strong, but did enjoy them, and yes in the past I have had a fairly high amount of Partagas cigars with a tight draw.

No, no! Sorry for the confusion. I'm referring to the Xquisito, by Carlos Torano, sometimes offered on CigarBid. I won a box of Presidentes awhile back. They are an attractive cigar and seem to be well-made. The few I have been able to smoke have been smooth and mild. However, almost all the cigars in the box were too tight to smoke - even Monica could not have got them to draw.
